Whichever method you choose with hash, it’s important to keep in mind:
- Potency. Due to its high potency, make sure to start slow. Remember: you can always take more dabs, but you can’t take less!
- Dosage. Along the same lines, hash allows users to vaporize tiny amounts of extracted cannabinoids without having to inhale copious amounts (i.e. as one would if smoking a blunt). In other words, you don’t have to physically inhale as much to get the same, or better, results.
Although hash is much more potent than weed, it does have very similar side effects – only faster and more intense. The most common side effects include: a sense of wellbeing, relaxation, rapid flow of ideas, increased appreciation of music and food, heightened senses, sleepiness, pain relief, nausea relief and increased appetite.
Like weed, there may also be several negative side effects, including dry mouth, rapid heartbeat, impaired short term memory, anxiety and panic attacks.
